Anyone got any suggestions about the height of a 6ft that is going to house pseuda? I presume floor space is more important than the height of the tank.

18" deep will be fine, you are right about the footprint being more important than depth, if you could have 72 x 24 (or better still 30) x 18", that would be cool, that is if you're having a custom tank.

I can go to 8ft but I dont really want to for just a couple 114,s. So 6ft x 2ft width x 18" high will be ok then?

I think that size should be just fine, especially if you're only going to have a couple of them. Let me know if this tank works well, as this is the size that I plan on getting for my L25. I would definately have lots of line of sight barriers.

After thinking about it, if I could go 8ft I definately would. It probably would'nt cost much more, and you never know what you may end up with down the road (Megalancistrus?)

18" should be fine for L114's

as for an L25's tank size - I wouldnt want to see mine go for a swim and crack its head on the glass covers - or straight out the tank...

It dosnt count at the moment as I've only got a rio 240 and a fluval 1200 (200l) running since the move :(

BUT The tank I'm about to have made is 6' x 2' and 30" tall :)

Will be getting the inhabitants of both the 200l tanks (L024 and L014 being the biggest growers... but I've got a long time before they get to a good size :(
