My 1st Mega

Was very inspired by the size and majestic bulk of this mega I saw on the net:

So heres my first mega, 16" TL and currently kept in a pond hoping to double its size in years to come. Photo in tank before relocating...

Gecko! Congrates on the new fish, looks a beasty even if he is half grown...

Is it true they have a mild poison on there spines, was once told this by a LFS, never looked into it further. Looks a proper beasty:thumbup:, even if he does have the wrong diet:re:

I Have also heard of Some catfish having poisonous pectorals. If this is the case then i'd imagine it would be similar to a sting from a coral cat (which happened to me recently) If you are stung then very hot water should destoy most of the venom as it is 99% protein based.
