MY FIRST L066 PROJECT - Please Sex

Hi All,

I am posting the pictures of 6 beautiful babies I picked up. They are around maybe 3.5-4 CM The plecos are NOT in order within both pictures.

I am trying to get an idea of how many males/females I might have picked up.

(This is my first time picking babies, I did as much research as I could to assist me in picking the mix...)

if i could have picked the fish from a large single spawn i think i maybe able to pick both sexes for you within a reasonable degree of accuracy....

but you've done the right thing by buying more than 2 fish and hoping you get a pair... with 6 fry you have good odds of getting both sexes....

as for guessing the 6 you have shown us... i think i would need a tardis to go into the future and see :dk::whistle::thumbup:

as bigjohnno states, if you have 6 you should have at least one female. I still find them too small to judge sexes. I would fatten them up and post picks again when they are semi mature in 12 months or at 6-7cm at least. cheers jk :thumbup:

Best wild guess 2m/4f. I see differing nose shapes and that's about all there is to go on at that early age.

Thanks so much guys. Really glad I got some responses. Yeah I am currently feeding bloodworms..waiting for my hikari to arrive

I do admit they are too small to sex...so I just wanted a few guesses haha...
