Sometimes you get lucky whilst taking photos of your fish. I was taking rubbish pictures for about 40 minutes and luckily, after evading me, my largest L027 Xingu decided to pose right in front of me for a good while.
This fella doesn't count because he's blind on his right side and always faces to the right so can't see me.
This is my largest L027 Xingu, I didn't measure him when I first got him because before I could, he had jumped during acclimatisation and subsequently broke one a hard caudal ray, so didn't want to stress him any more. I estimate him about 23cm/9.2"
You can probably see that he is a little slim. He's never been much of a big eater (compared to my others) whilst I've had him. I bought some de-wormer to try again.
This is closer to his normal colour but the flash just makes for better pictures.
