I bought two L201s on AB. These are the fish I received. So, I've got one L201 and I think I know what the other one is, but can anyone help me officially identify what he/she is?

hello, wow certainly look different. Also maybe looks like your L201 up top has a snub nose maybe. The bottom fish I have no idea. What size are they ? Could they still be in stress colouring ? Any chance of a photo of the bottom one only ? What do you think the bottom one is ? cheers jk :thumbup:

They have disappeared into the depths of my holding tank and I'm not going to disturb them for a while. To see if maybe it is stress coloration. Also, the definite L201 does have the snub nose. Not very happy at this point with my purchase considering they were listed as wild by a major seller on AquaBid. I'll get better pictures and post them when I can. Thanks!

I forgot to add that they are approximately 2 inches.

think you should claim a refund. i think they are coloured from stress, so hopefully can get more pics later.

After letting him be for a few days, the mystery pleco is slowly turning into an L201. Stress coloration but active and eating well. So I'm comfortable with that. Poor guy was just freaked out!
