Need help sexing L397's

I would just like to know the sex of these two before i buy.

I would guess that the left pic is a male and the second a female as the body shap less v shape and more round and the head looks to be a different shape to the other best of luck to you

I can see 3 hairy males in the first photo and the second photo looks kinda hairy as well.

Yeah I was fairly sure the main one in the first pic was male.
So do think the main one in the second photo is female based on head, body shape?

Head shape maybe, body shape no, hairy tail definitely no.

There 7-8cm if this makes any difference

Top middle one might be a female but with those other 4 males in the same tank she just hasn't really become gravid. The little one down the bottom could also develop into a female.
I think the seller really wants to get rid of the 4 males as well which is why the cheaper price. Males aren't worth as much as females.

Its up to you if you are game to take them all on, sell off 3 males for a display or whatever, and see how a little trio works out.

I was only going to buy the two.
So u reckon the one parallel to the really hairy male is female?
Do u think a vent shot would confirm sex?
