Hi all information I have read pre 2 days ago had said do not hatch brime shrimp in iodised salt
So I thought that they will not hatch
But this is not true you get better results from it and they are healthier ie live longer

SO my Question's regarding all of this is

- If I hatch brime shrimp in iodised salt then extract just the brime from the mix and then feed them to my Plecs and cory would it affect the fish?
- If so why and how ?
- If I rinse the brime in fresh water then feed will that be more safe?

Thank you for confirming its safe

Just not sure if you mean fine to hatch as I read it good for bbs
Or
Fine to feed cory Plecs and other fish brime shrimp that had been hatched from iodised salt?

A cheap container of non-iodized salt is 49 cents. That's what I was using but I get a much better hatch rate with aquarium salt. At $2.29 it's worth it to get 50 to 60 % better hatch rate out of my brine shrimp eggs. Especially when I have as many as a thousand little mouths to feed at any given time. It's either cheap salt and waste money on eggs or buy the better salt and get more for your money out of the eggs.
