just want to drop by to seeking for some gr8 advices and//or judgment that is

i would like to build a tank with a dimension of (LxWxH) 7ft x 2.5ft x 2.5 ft, 12ml glass all around its come with foam and cover glass brand new of course. and they charge me for $1200 Aus.
just wondering it is a gr8 offer or deal (cheaps) any inputs or advices// judgement would be thanksful and appreciated.

I applaud you for asking and seeking info before you buy.
For me the first question would be for which type of fish would you like this tank ? If it is for Ls ,then the 2.5 height would be a waste of space and thus money. The other thing for such a large tank would be a sump and also if you have a wooded floor the floor space weight limit. a large tank like this is heavy. Now this you might have already considered, but just some thoughts. 12mm I would find is also suitable. Price in my view is also good, but worth to check around, especially in MEL where there are a lot of suppliers. Also check if they deliver and if you live in a house or unit with stairs be very careful and check all dimensions to get the beast in. Good luck and post photos when done...cheers jk

I'll thanks you for your opinions and that, its such a gr8 and wonderful info that you been giving, to your question hmmm... i am recent moving to a brand new house and its tile concrete floor. i think its shouldnt be a problem at all rite>??
reason i am building this big tank ie, i want to set up a marine tank with sump and protein skimmer. that is why i need to asked about the prices to make sure i got a good deal for the tank and such. its gonna be fully live rocks though if you like when i fullet set up can take a fews shots to share with you guys as in returning the favour that i been asking. hehehe
