gday guys and gals, i have just setup a 2x1x1 tank with a pepps trio... It had been running for 2 weeks with some guppy and electric yellow fry. My pepps have been in the tank now for just over a week, i just did some tests and realised my ammo was very high infact it was sitting on 4:cry::cry:. :wb::wb:
Now i have done a 30% water change and will do the same when i get home from work tomoz. the tank is a clear bottom with a cave, nice big piece of dw, 200w heater and a small internal filter. i am also running two pooper filters that are run off a air pump..
I am wanting anyones advice as i would love to get these pepps going:woohoo:
these were my stats
ammo_ 4
nitrate_0
nitrite_0
Ph_6.2
Thanks in advance
Mick

I am no expert but if you have a-4, na-0 ,ni -0 ,this means your tank is not cycled yet, gotta have a-0, ni-0 and show some na. Not cycled tank usually means fish will suffer and die. your tank still needs to develop ni, also toxic to fish, before a and ni drop to 0 .

Can you get some bio-media from another tank or friends tank immediately?
wc too,but that won't save them.

Let the others give you advice what to do ,aside from taking them back until you get the tank cycled, or getting some biomedia in there asap , don't know your other options. sorry,

Georgie
