he's lovely now settling into his new quarantine tank for a couple of weeks before he goes and joins the others in the big 1000l tank :)

all the rest had pretty boring brown tails but his is almost completely transparent on the bit that looks white in the photos and he had the reddest eyes out of all of them so he got picked

He is a cute little baby. His clear tail will fill in with colour as he grows. You sure 1000L is big enough for him? What else do you have in your massive tank?

not a whole lot as its empty at the moment while i'm decorating but usually there's a couple of l14's a couple of commons some pictus corys bala sharks and red tailed sharks and a few angels. tbh its mostly empty but it fills the living room up nicely :) once the builders have finished and i get it all set back up i'll get some pictures of the tank up

little update on bob for you all (the missus has named him bob!)

he's settled in nicely and is eating very well, while he wasn't starving when I got him his belly wasn't quite as nice and full as it could have been this has now been resolved by the fact despite being small he's eaten almost a full cucumber since the weekend!

No sign of whitespot or any stress from the move/settle in so all things in he's looking very good in a week or so he can go join the bigger tank :)

Good solid name bob, it will stand him well in his fishy life. A little royal like that with 1000l tank will get some epic growth, enjoy him :)
