Hey everybody! I'm new to this site but not new to the hobby. I am almost 45 and have been keeping aquariums since I was 12. It all started when I saw my Uncle's 29 gallon full of Cardinal Tetras. I'm a semi-regular on Monster Fish keepers and the Cichlid-Forums.

My current setups are a 75 mixed community made up of mostly rescues. My show tank is a 220 South American Cichlid & Synodontis aquarium with a sump, stand, & canopy that were all custom built by me and my family.

I will be starting renovations in the spring, hopefully, to my garage so I can start my own fish room in the hope of breeding some of the more expensive plecos. I'm really interested in L260, L066, & maybe L007. I'm still doing my research and have a long way to go before my garage will be ready for this. I am open to any constructive advice anyone with a fish room has.

Anyway, I'll post of photos below of my 220.

Hi,

very nice.
Please note that the L66 and L260 should not be kept together in the same aquarium.
Hybrids? – No, thank you!

Greetings

LOL, no. I was not suggesting a cross breed, just that I'm interested in breeding those species. I'm already collecting equipment for the future fish room. The plan currently is 6 20 gallon longs, 2 40 gallon breeders, a 75, a 125, and a few 5 gallons for fry. My garage needs a bit of repair and preparation before I can do anything, which I'm hoping to start in the spring.
