New Cichlids

Here are a few of my recent pickups.

one of my Uarus, I really love these fish.

New super red Severum the flash washes out the color quite a bit.

I think this GT has some real potential.

This is a FHxRD that I kept because the reds and blues are real vibrant but the fading seems to be taking forever:wb:

feel free to rip on my BP but I love her anyway and she's a proven breeder. She is best mates with my Chocolate plec

Cheers mate! the uarus are quick becoming one of my favorite pure cichlids. I have a pair so I'd really like to breed some. these two were the first and only time i've seen an uaru in my life so I just had to grab them. even passed up a pair of rotkeil sevs for these guys.

Im a uaru fan but they are in a drought in aus.
There was plenty, now i cant get them. Unreal looking as juvie's too.

I'm very happy with the combination of colors and personality. I've lucked out insomuch as my hybird and GT are quite docile and the super red and Uarus are quite outgoing so aggression has been minimal.

There is a guy in Hervey Bay who breeds them...last time i saw him he had several hundred of them
Lost contact with him though,but they are around
