I got a 4 ft tank today today however when i started filling it up the water appeared to be deeper on one side of the tank then the other suggesting it may be unlevel.

At this stage i dont have a level to check it so am unable to ascertain if it is just the cabinet or the tank.

Anyhow what i wanted to know is if there a risk of the tank giving way due to more pressure on the apparent deeper end? I am yet to fill it all way up so figured i would ask before doing so,

Planning on moving my albinos to the tank in a month and when i have the money adding a pair of peppermints,
thanks

Your cabinet (or floor) is not level. It's not a good idea to fill a tank unless it is level as yes the different pressure can make to glass or joints give way. Much easier to get your cabinet levelled out now while you have the chance. Shouldn't be hard ;)
