Hi, found your site by accident, and I'm happy I did. My niece gave me a tank, nothing in it, and I'm reading all I can to learn how to do this right before I put a drop of water in it LOL.
I love watching her pleco but the tank I have is 27 liter, so I figured I could not get one... But I found out on the first page that there may be a Pleco small enough to consider. Can you tell me which Plecos stay around 2 inches and if they would be a good match up with guppies?

Thanks for the "oto's lead". I will read up on them a little more. From what I read so far they seem a little agressive? Is that the norm, or te exception, and does that go for all family members of catfish?

Hi &

Your tank size is a bit small for a grown pleco or bn once it has grown some, While you are learning how to keep the cat of your choice happy, You could get a small one, say 4cms and get a bigger tank ready for when it grows a bit...or like BigBird mentioned, You could get say 4>6 smaller Otos, I have kept them, they are the most peaceful little algae eating cat you could get..It's fun researching what you want to keep, I applaud you for doing your homework before you even add the water :D Brilliant decision..
