Hi all. My co2 solenoid is playing up and I might need a new one.
So , not sure if I've asked this before but I'm in a rush, I'm thinking
About dumping the Co2 and just useing liquid carbon.
If I do this will I have any problems?

No, should be all right. The problem comes when you go from "added CO2" to "no CO2" without lowering the light level.

If you want to stop using added carbon all together, just reduce the liquid carbon over a couple of weeks, and reduce the photo period down to about 8 hours. You will need to reduce your fertiliser dosing by about a 1/2, or just go to using the "duckweed index" <http://www.plecoplanet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10083&highlight=Duckweed+index>.

Growth will be slower, but otherwise it should all be much the same.

Cheers darrel, I fixed the problem. Cheers Derek.
Used a spanner and a little tap and all works now. I'll be keeping an eye on it.
But as the co2 bottle is nearly empty I still might lose it and just use liquid co2.
