Of the ones you've mentioned, C. aldolfoi is probably the rarest/most exoensive. The others are pretty common. Well, a true C. julii is pretty expensive but most sold in the hobby are C. trilineatus.

C. weitzmanni is pretty, rare & expensive if that's what you're looking for.

If breeding for the first time, would recommend the same as would recommend for plecs, start with a cheap, easy to care for, easy to breed before moving on to the expensive ones.

Lol. just saw this one the previous link. Explains my previsou statment.

"The corydoras season is starting slowly this year as the rainy season in South America has not yet come to an end. Normally the rainy season ends in Feb-April and we start to see the volume of available species rise but that hasn't been the case as of yet this year. As the rainy season ends and the waters being to recede from all of the rain during the rainy season it will become possible for the collectors to reach these bottom feeding fish and then begin to start catching the corydoras which means more will start becoming available. As they do we will begin to make them available.".

Trils are fairly common and not to difficult to breed. Not sure on my favourite though as i like lots of different ones. You should have a look at the cory photo thread as there are some awesome photos in it, its a stickie at the top of this forum.

Bronze and peppered corys are by far the easiest to breed, I suppose it all comes down to personal preference, like doodles said have a look at the pics for some inspiration. As for the L46 of the cory world the latest big things are CW51 which have been selling between between £60 and £85 each in the UK, although I don't know what corys are available in AUS, I've hear of goessi being available which are an excellent looking cory and would be a good project if you can source them.
