One for the eheim buffs - I'm going crazy!

I have a 2232 attached to my 2ft Tank. When I had it on the kitchen work surface next to the tank I had the minimum of 10cm between the top of the filter and the top of the water and the diffuser worked great, lots of bubbles. I have since got hold of a stand and put it on there and obviously got new tubing, but now I can't get the flow as good so the diffuser doesn't work at all.

What am I doing wrong? Ive cleaned it all out thoroughly, I've chnaged the floss in case that was clogged up, it's 70cm between the top of the filter and the top of the water. It's driving me nuts.

Any advice anyone?

I can now officially confirm that Bob is indeed the fifth emergency service. I'm all back to normal!

Shame he has just gone on holiday and I have broken an adaptor on one of my externals:cry::cry:

Oh wait.....He gave me the keys to his fish house just in case of emergency. This to me is an emergency It will also give me chance to have a really good snoop about without going through the security gate on the way out:yes:

Of course your biggest mistake is telling the few thousand readers of this forum..........I guess the finger might just point at you gee if anything is missing.......but while you're there if you find any spare L66's knocking about save them for me!!
