Orange trees?

Afternoon folks,
Just had a thought, In China people have orange bushes in their homes to celebrate the new year and afterwards just toss them out. I think they'd make really nice roots or moss covered trees etc.. Any idea if orange wood is safe to use in the aquarium?

Thanks Bob, would boiling it then hanging it to dry for a few weeks "cure" it ? they are quite thin maybe an inch or two at the thickest.

Hi all,
Stan they have a lot of oil in the wood, so you may find it takes a long time before they stop releasing this into the water.
Have a look for "citrus natural solvent" on the WWW.
