I found a cluster of eggs near the Peps BN caves. They all transparent and some seems to be broken. i scooped them into a breeder tank and place an air stone in it...

when would i know if the eggs are still viable or not ?

also is it common for the Peps to discard their eggs ??

Yes its common for peps to kick eggs out - particularly if they are not viable.
If your eggs are truly transparent you may be looking at the outer casings only as usually when eggs are fertile they are a golden colour or if they get fungus they will turn white and "fluffy".
If they are casings two possibilites - 1)Someone has eaten them or 2) they have hatched and the shells discarded (check the cave, hopefully you will be surprised)

I would keep for 48 hours to see if fungus, also add shrimp or water louse to egss which will eat fungus and stop any spreading.

but agree with above post, are they clear and golden?
