Peppermint breeding

How do I explain to others that Peps cant breed with B/N"s in an easy way or do I have it wrong.

guess you mean peppermint BN s and common BNs? no they should not be bred together they are different species.

I agree Irene, but how do you tell people that say it can and has been done?

I think there are some threads on here about interbreeding. it muddies the gene pool and would probably have infertile young anyway, like zebra/donkey cross etc.
