how big are they exactly? mine are about 1ch and the batch b4 that are about 2cm and when i do water changes normally 50-60% i take the hatchery that i keep the little ones in out and just leave it ontop of my tank (there are some water in the hatchery that doesnt drain). when im done doin water change i just place them bak in right away pretty much....by this time my water temp would prob be around 19deg. the set temp is about 26degree

If you wanna move the fry make sure you have the same water in the new tank as to what they are in now. Best start doing 10-20% water transfers every day or so. As for me I keep my temp around the 27-28 degree mark. Usually only run a double sponge filter in the fry tank so you wont have to worry the fry being sucked up by internal/external filters. Finally, if you feed them algae flakes, best to soak them in water for a while 1st and blanch your veges. For my pepp fry I use blanched frozen peas you get from the supermarket. And gratz on the clutch:clap:

first of all congrats on the fry !
temp as stated
you can move them at any stage aslong as you are using the same tank water and that your filter that you will be running is established (for the best servival rate)
what you need to ask your self is should you move them are there other fish that would eat them? if not leave them in there till 2+cms i move my ones just as they are born i take out the cave with the male in it to another tank with same water he fanns away i just make sure they have food once egg sack is gone then i put the male an cave back in his tank! that way i dont have to catch them all in the main tank "move everything out so on"

its best to leave them in with parents and just feed them up....

but if thats not an option then the above methods are probably the next best thing.....

mine breed all year round from 20-30 degrees so i dont think temperature is important - good fry survival rates in winter and summer...

I try to keep mine in the same tank but use a plastic breeder to separate them. This way I can give them a lot of food. I find they don't grow as fast when they need to compete for food with the adults. I always leave a few in the tank and the ones in the breeder do better. I give them lots of flake food. I would be worried about feeding my adults as much as I feed my fry.
