I have a lovely colony of 6 large peppers , 2 males and 4 females and they do not seem interested in breeding .4 years ago, when they were much smaller I noticed fry popping up from time to time. Nothing for years. What Ph do they like ?

I do a weekly ,never more than fortnightly water change - they are in hard water with some Tropheus. Have persuaded a very good friend to set up a tank exclusively for the Peppers - I think they have been too disturbed by the non-stop action of the Tropheus .Thanks for the good wishes and welcoming comments -
