So after my first babies slowly but surely passed away over a couple of weeks, and me feeling pretty rubbish for losing them. To my surprise about a month a go they did it and i now have roughly about 15 large ish babies in the males cave. :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:
I decided not to interrupt this time and sit back and watch the male do his job.

A great dad with his kids

I would guess the babies are about 10-12mm now.

And to top it all off. The other pair i have in another tank have just had their clutch hatch out too.

:clap::clap::clap:

More Pics on their way

Joby- Yes it is. They spawned not long after my mistakes with the first clutch of eggs.

BigBird- Thanks buddy. I put up some more Papa pics for you to look at, in Uk classifieds :)

I hope this pic comes out ok? Try clicking on it to make it bigger.

That's correct jumon. Adults are no more than 3 inches long. nearer to 2.5.

I'll keep the photo's coming. There are roughly 13 young in my small tank and another 10 or so from the other pair in my other tank.

Female looks ready to pop again.
