Yeah getting there mate, the filters help alot, used the macro filter for these shots

very nice shots Jack ! really captured your fish colors and stripes ,good detail...so crisp ,great job. I have been trying to get some good shots of my L's, but using a dig camera ...well ..and I guess I don't have the talent.. nothing worth posting ,I'm afraid.
What kind of camera are you using ?

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. The camera is a Fuji finepix S5600 I think :S forgot where i put the box. Bought from Steve (ff mkII)
