Please help ID (and if possible sex) my pleco

Hi!

I'm a newbie to the world of plecos. We just got our tank a few weeks ago, and with it came our pleco. He/she is easily one of our favorites, and we stumbled onto this site while trying to do some research into plecos in general.

Any insight would be appreciated. He/she is about 10 inches long, and his/her previous owner had no information either -- apparently this pleco has migrated at least twice now with the tank and setup. Quite the survivor!
