any chance for a clear single shot from above ?
the reason I ask is that some of your Ls are on the side wall and are distorted and hard to say. Each shot from above of a singular fish gives us more of a chance to see if they are M ror F, plus also please let us know the size. L134 usual are better to sex at 8-9cm cheers jk

First up and easiest is take out the ones with a hairy tail. Those are males.
If you pick an adult male up, you will feel in your hand he's raspy and rough.

I found out recently if they have yellow spots around the vent area they always seem to female but not all females have it all the time.

Males tend to just look sharp and girls more curvy and rounded. It can very subtle and juvi males will at first tend to look more female.

Theres heaps of stuff to look for but very few traits on its own will definitely point to one sex, its a few things together and even then you can get it wrong.

The males tend to stay in there caves a lot more than the female.and thay have tiny bristles around there tail end.and as said yellow spots are usually around the females vent underside.my domanent male is always in its cave.just night times he is out I think.good luck with it.
