Hi All,

I just purchased a L066 and keep him in my second tank while I get him acclimated. He has driftwood and a cave.
My question is if the "moon" or night light deters or stresses out the pleco. He is really shy now and I would like to keep an eye on him at night.

Thanks in advance.

There is no problem with dim lighting at night. Sometimes I think its quite a good thing so he can see around the tank a bit and assure himself there are no predators luring about in there.

For new fish I keep tank furnishings to a minimum and set them up in such a way that I can see at least a part of the fish without peering in too much with a torch or similar.
