Pleco lacks pelvic fins

Hi all,
Thanks for tons of useful and interesting info I find on this forum! Please, share your opinion on my situation. Could anyone suggest if it is normal that my pleco has no pelvic fins? Is this a common thing? I searched over the internet but have not found any mention of such cases. Please, see the pictures attached (the pleco is a little bloated in the pics, but she's okay).

Hi,

looks like a common Ancistrus.
It is unusual for both pelvic fins to be missing. Since both pelvic fins and only these I would suspect a genetic problem.
