poo looks wrong

it would not harm to treat in the Q tank, better safe than sorry. Looks like a sort of nervous poo, with air bubbles in between. cheers jk :thumbup:

ok. thanks jk, right , better safe than sorry. This I never would have seen in the 54g with gravel and other fish.

I will often give a routine treatment to a Q tank unless I either know the previous owner of the fish well or I have been able to observe them in the lfs for a while.

Still easy to get caught out with lfs fish if they are on a centralised system. New fish can introduce diseases at any time.

Sorry I waffled on a bit as per usual.

ok, I am gonna start then on Paracide -X , made by National Fish Pharnaceuticuals . It has to be mixed in with food--deshelled peas,then freeze the mixture, break off a bit and drop in tank. I have used this before and worked great.
