problems,if any..

hi,my co2 ran out on saturday and all off my LFS havent got them in stock any more.problems with getting hold of them they tell me :dk:.
anyway the earlyst i can get one is this following saturday from 1 of my local mainheads,if
they can get them.
so wot problems if any will i get going from full co2 to no co2 for a week?
can i add any thing to make up for not having it?

p.s, the fish seam more active now the co2 isnt on and ive left the air stone running all the time..

wow, i think this should be ok. If you are concerned look at the DIY from MOOO how to make your own CO2 set up http://www.plecoplanet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11307 . I have seen it at her place and looks simple enough and her tanks speak for themselves. cheers jk :thumbup:

im not sure wot to do now,spend £30 on a new bottle when and if they come in or leave the tank co2 less,or try the diy way.
the fish seam happer,more swiming around etc,but i also don,t wont a tank full off crap looking plants.

nothing at all, just fish poo and wee :lol: . find that all of them thrive, but we also have very good water in SYD. they all grow like crazy. I have however diffusers on rthe outlet valve, giving off tons of exrtra oxygen in tiny bubbles. cheers jk :thumbup:

Lol, worry wort I am.ok I'll leave it as till I know I can get some co2, if the tank looks fine and plants ok then it stays co2 free.

Easycarbo will supplement them in the meantime until your Co2 canister is replaced...Just make sure you don't over do it.

found some co2,from aquaessentials,got it 20 mins ago :woohoo:
super fast delivery.just in the nick of time i think cos my Aquafleur Ludwigia Palustris Red and some off the long stem plants (cant remember name) where startin to look droppy.

Hi,

Thats a nice tank mate and algae free as far as I can tell well done.

I suspect your paying over the odds for your co2 though. Google "co2 welding gas" and have a look at this.

thats a good read.prob not to much of a good idea in my house with a 5year old running around.
