Haven't been happy with my Pico since I bought it, currently houses 2 Neons and 3 Black Neons.

Decided to convert it to a Shrimp tank, as they are becoming more availabe here but needed to do a lot of work on the scape.

Shrimps love moss apparently, managed to track down some Christmas moss and set to work thinking how to best use it.

Saw some instructions online for making a Moss wall so armed with some fishing line, super glue and flyscreen mesh I set to work.

Next up was the hardscape, had a large piece of Redmoor type wood (was about twice the size of the tank lol), that had been soaking in the bath for over a week without sinking I neede a way of keeping it down. Scored some sample slate tiles for free, 4 hacksaw blades, 1 cut finger and a fair dollop of super glue later that was done.

Had some moss left over so used the rest of that up as well.

New substrate washed, moss wall stuck on, tiles in, filled it back up with water and voila, job done.

Annoyingly, the 10 Cherry Shrimp I had reserved on Tuesday had been chowed by an adult Discus so there aren't any in there yet but will remedy that soon.

Really hope the moss wall works, the pictures I have seen look great.

Anyways, pictorial evidence below, may add something in the foreground at a later date but I think it will look good once the moss grows out and gets a bit wild.

looking good mate.
Did you mean to add the first 2 photo's from when you had the back, sack and crack wax???

Is it only cherry shrimp you can get? they breed like wild fire once they get going and can become a bit of a pest (ime)
