i made a few pvc caves for bristlenose however they dont seem to be going near them, is there something i should know?
i have read that people have bred bristlenose in them before but mine are not interested in them.
i made them closed on end and the opening at the other is 4cm they are around 10 - 15cm long.
i read somewhere that someone said they are too smooth for bristlenose is this right?
any help would be really appreciated thanks.

i have not at the moment but can get some soon, they look just like this except one end is completely closed with an end cap made for the pvc.

like any other animal, fish take time to adjust to their new homes.
Try place some wood over the entrance top, makes them feel more secure.
Try flatten the PVC pipe a little.

If they are laid out in the same way then i agree with froggie, try and blend them in or you could camouflage them, similar to the way Moo has in her post HERE, with it being pvc you may have to file the outside to create a bond.

Know this doesn't help with the pvc but mine picked a coconut over everything I gave them, including pvc.hope that helped, :)
