So Sorry to hear that...Its devastating to lose so many and highlights your point about quarantining...I find that many have quarantine tanks but end up filling them with fish so they can't use them when required...One of the best methods I've found is to have a empty 70ltr tank handy but don't fill it...Place a internal power filter in the main tank that is capable of servicing a 120ltr tank...That way you have a mature filter that can be used to set up a quarantine tank in no time at all using water from the main tank...Once the quarantine period is over, the filter can be placed back into the main tank for future use.

I am sorry for your loss. I ALWAYS have either an additional sponge or internal powerhead spare in at least one tank and also an empty 100liter Q tank. I fill water from the main tank to the Q tank and add the powerhead or sponge and heater and voila my instant Q tank. Cheers jk

Sorry for your losses.

I applaud :clap::clap:you for wanting to warn others of this hard learnt lesson. That, if were honest, many of us have made at some stage or other

If I don't have a quaranteen tank spare I at least move out the expensive ones to another tank and only add new fish to a tank full of cheap ones which if lost would be sad but not quite so devistating.

Stress and chilling in transit is often the cause so if you can minimise that you have half the battle won.
