Ok so I recently purchased a used 55 gl tank and I have removed all the old sealant from corners and bottom. The big chunks were easy to remove but what is the best way to go about removing all the millions of little bits of old silicone??? they're so sticky!
Also, once I have all the old gunk out should I use vinegar or alcohol to clean the corners/bottom where I'll apply the new silicone? would this make it adhere better or should I just use hot water?
