I was wondering about growth times, I have 3 red shrimp 1 is 1cm the others about half that, how long do they take to grow to adults and how big will they get. they came in the bag with my BNs.

yes cherry shrimp only grow to approx 1.5cm and vary in shade from quite a red colour through to pink and almost no colour, especially if stressed.
do you have any photos?

I'd be guessing that they are Cherry Shrimp. They seem to be everywhere in Australia at the moment and people like myself don't mind just giving them away. They don't grow too big (biggest I've had was 1.5cm) and breed like mice. So expect to have quite a few in no time at all.
This first one is a very gravid one.

If all 3 of your shrimp are all red then they are females. You have no males therefore you wont have babies.
