I'm setting up a couple of new tanks and wanted to try some of the redmoor wood for a change. Found a nice looking piece and just about fell off the chair lol ! £79.99 for a bit of wood, now you must be having a laugh !

Anyone know where I can get fairly large pieces of redmoor, where I don't have to take out a second mortgage lol ?

Cheers

I have sold red moor roots since they first came into the country and have never seen a piece that costs that much...The general price is around £15 per kilo if that helps...It will take around 3 weeks before is stays down without a rock on top of it.

Thanks Derek, I'll keep looking then.
I'm just after 2 or 3 roots that stand tall. Looking for them to spread up the way and not across ..... if that makes any sense lol ! Most of the bits round here are quite small and don't have any height to them at all. Was toying with the idea of attaching them to the top of the tank and having them spread down the way, keeping the tank floor clear.
