Picked up a new Royal at Wharf today, I did see him in October and asked Richard to keep him for me, but I couldn't pick him up until today.

Couple of quick snaps below, his markings make me think L330:dk: but not 100%. Any idea's??:dk::dk: He's got a nice set of chew chews coming on and is about 6/7" TL

He seems to have interesting markings on his sides. Can you get a side shot? It reminds of a strangely marked Panaque (Badensers pic I think) I saw a while back.

Interesting, could well be, similiar markings one his side, anyone know where there may be a belly shot of one?

Jo managed to get these last night on the iPhone, you can see his chew chew getting bigger and hopefully the side markings are pretty clear too.:thumbup:

Smart fish, needless to say I don't know what he is. What are the roots at the top of the tank from? Are they from a Monstera (Swiss Cheese Plant)?

That royal is a stunner now he is settled in, his pattern will change a treat, keep an eye on him. I also have a random royal, gave up with an ID long ago!
