I've replaced the sand in the tanks today as over a period of time I syphon it up and they're almost bare :D Got most of the tanks but missed out the L174s and the L144 growout

L66

L134 growout

L134 adults

L144

Super Reds

L46 Zebras

Male Zeb in cave

Not sure they were appreciative of the new sand as they were all swishing their tails around trying to get it out their caves or off their bit of wood

thanks for sharing nice pics and gr8 set ups

what size are they ?

do you find it beter with sand than with out sand ? (bare bottom)?

iv always thought that bare bottom was much easyer to keep clean ?

but yes i alway consider it as a way to keap bacteria !

once again very nice set ups !

The tanks range from 32" to 36" and generally 100 litres+

I only topped up the tanks with sand today as they were almost bare due to syphoning up during daily water changes. I tried bare bottomed but I actually prefer the look with sand plus I think its nice for the fish to root around in and it also helps keep the food in one place for the juvies/fry
