had a bash at 1 of these earlier didnt go as well as hoped :dk: but this was the outcome...

now i mite have another bash at this sometime soon but this one is too wide for my liking and not smooth enough, i think the best way to go is to find a peice of metal pipe or similar and build the clay around that otherwise its a nightmare to try keep the shape right. The product itself tho is excellent easy to use and remarkably cheap to buy

I used this http://direct.hobbycraft.co.uk/products-Sculpey-Premo-Blue-Glitter_350922.htm theres loads of colours available and its the same price instore as online. I used 2 packs to make that 1 large cave so £4.38 but it was worth it to experiment.

Like i said i think good results could be had if you had a mould to work around

any chemicals etc that could leak in the water once you submerge it ?

Apparantly from what ive read on a few forums once its been baked and it fully cured its totally aquarium safe.

Yep 30 mins in the oven and jobs a gud un! Just had a look at mine again after its had all night and its amazingly hard quite good really

No apparantly not it appears its just the same as putting pvc pipe in your tank!

mmmm i got a oven at work that will do 300-400 degrees might try this is there any better colours than blue ???????
