Hi I have a 8 year old Albino BN and his last two tries at breeding has ended in failure. After a few days the eggs float out and are mostly white. I think the eggs are not fertilized.
Over the years he has had near 10 successful broods of fry ranging from 30-100 fry.
Is there an age where any further attempts at trying to get him breeding will fail and end up in this scenario?

Hi,
I think that's not a problem with age. I read reports of successful broods from other plecos with an age over 10 years, some over 20 years.
I don´t know why Albino BN should be different.
