Setting up a River Flow Biotype

Looks very similar to the setup from loaches.com.

I have read this several times in several different Web sites-the reason I keep reading it is because the idea seems great for plecos and simple to set up I basically have all the components in my tank or at home.what stops me doing it is I wonder how much power you would loose from the power head along the pipe to the sponge?

as the priciple works on a rough closed system so to speak, I think it would be minimal, as long as you keep the sponges clean. cheers jk :thumbup:
