Not really possible from those pictures. P. disjunctivus is difficult to sex as there is no real sexual dimorphism between sexes. The best guess is done by viewing a close-up of the genital papillia, in the male its pointy, the female its blunt/rounded. But then it still helps to be able to see both sexes together as the pointiness/bluntness/roundness is all really relative.

I have a friend who has one as well, I can compare to her! Her's is about 18" in length and a very HAPPY fish. Thanks for the input!!
