jack i think photos for ID need to be in a shallow tub. a icecream tub would do the job but it means you can take closer photos. i currently use a clear Ikea salad tray that didnt get converted into a fry saver.:yes: the advantage is i can take all sides top and bottom.

see if you can get some close ups

jack your camera would probably be ok. In my opinion it just better to see fish without the gravel etc
That new camer your getting looks a super deal.
that fish does it show any hair?

Hi Jack,

It helps so much if you can place you L in a clear tub and take a shot from above, no gravel etc. I still think you have a female, but your shot from above is at an angle and this might distort the picture. Does not matter which camera you have. cheers jk :thumbup:

The tank is 3ft with plenty of caves and slate etc will give you some pics laterr
