Sexing alligator plecos

Has anyone got any tips for sexing the above, i've got two and one looks quite plump and spends all it's time stuck to the glass, the other is longer and spends most of it's time in the caves.

As with other Pterygoplichtys its probably going to boil down to looking at genital papillia for an accurate determination.

There in a 4 foot bow front with a large amount of other fish and it's quite heavily planted so photo's are hard.

Is the underside the best place to photograph? when the lights go out i normally get 1 on the glass at the front but as soon as the flash goes off he'll be gone like a shot so if i know what's best to get i'll try tonight.

The other it may be a case of taking the cave out with him in it.
