Sexing L002

Just wondering if anyone could tell me the sex of these two L002s

Also another question, I have 4 more “L002” but they don’t look the same as the first two I have posted ? Any ideas what they are and any chance of sexing them? They all have very similar traits. Not much hair on them except for one.

Hi,

Because the body shape: the first looks like female (wide waist), the second like male.

But because of optical illusions, pictures are always a problem. It's better to see for yourself.
Look also: To distinguish the sexes of small hypostominae loricariids

Thankyou for your post Elko,
From reading that website I believe you are right 1st is female and second is male, I have had these for ages and always thought it was funny that my female takes the cave?
Also any idea on the colours? Have I got 2 L397: and 4 L002?
