small fins..

i have this sterbai cory, hes about 3 years old (i think) The thing is, he has grown, but his fins havent. He is about 6 or 7cm long. His pectoral fins are just under a centremetre. His dorsal fin and caudal fin are torn, yet he remains happy, stable in the water, and active. What may have caused this? :dk: thankyou

Theres quite a few photo programs out there that can resize pics. I use photoscape which is free. Can you not even upload them as attachments?

Crop the picture making it smaller by taking out area in the photo that is not necessary. Just focusing in on the subject of the photo

could be he has had some fin rot at some time maybe and the fins have not fully regrown?

i dont know, the ank crashed a while back, and he got a small bit of fin rot then alothought they have never grown back even though the tank is in tip top condition now.. :dk:

That could be the cause or maybe just a deformity?

I thought it may be a deformity because the spines arent that long either

I think that it is a deformity. I have a Sterbai that grew up with no pectoral fins.
Don't use it for breeding as it could be genetic.
