small snails

hi,i found loads of small snails in the outside water butt,collects rain water.
would these be normal pond snails and can i add them to my tanks for assassin snail food?
i would post a pic but they are to small.

ok,erm black/dark brown round ish.just very small versions of pond snails.
i think they might be baby pond snails...:dk:

ok, have you googled baby pond snails, if yes, assasin snails also eat them cheers jk

cool,added some to the big tank when i got in this morning and i think the assassins like em,just found some shells in the tank.
