Bought some plants and now I have snails everywhere. Is there an easy way to get rid or cut down on their numbers? If I get something to eat them will they also eat eggs and fry?:dk:

Hello and :welcome:, snails do come in with plants, that is why one should also quarantine plants as well. They will dwindle out if there is not enough food. All I do it remove snails about 10-20 a day and feed less. After a while the snails will reduce in numbers as well, but it takes time. The ramhorn snail which lives in the ground is however a good one as it digs and turnes over the substrate. Any chance of photo of your snails so we kow what you are dealling with ? Generally I never use chemicals to kill snails as they die and pollute the water. cheers jk

Quarantining sounds like a good idea and I do think we are feeding our fish too much. Pic of snails. Thanks

Remove by hand any that you see and in no time you will have less or none. Also less food. It is an issue of controlling what causes the snail outbreak. Keep. Us in the loop. Cheers jk

KUSURI wormer plus will wipe out all your snails and give your fish a good worming at the same time.
