Hey

I bought this as a snowball a while ago, but can't remember the L number.
I have looked through the pleco catalogue but I am struggling to identify it.
anyone who can tell me what it is that would be greatly appreciated.

I did struggle to feed this fish at first, it just kept loosing weight and I got quite concerned but as this photo shows it has settled down and feel confident enough to stay out feeding and let me take this photo.

Looks like a LDA33/L142 i think ! They are lovely pleco's.

Does look like a good nice fish, well done.

I'm pretty confident it isn't Leporacanthicus. The head isn't pointed enough, it hasn't got the 'frills' around the mouth and it lacks the protruding 'point' at the back of the head plate before the dorsal fin.

it's defo not an L240 galaxias and they fall under L029 and at juvies they have yellowish spots so the fish in question is definately an LDA033 snowball, i know because i have 8 of them
