Hi peeps :hi:
Firstly the bn we have came from our breeding albino bns however it is black with nice spots and markings (i will try and get a picture) so this is why we kept it, we have it in a tank with some community fish.
will a solitary female bn drop eggs without a male in with her ?
We have always kept a pair, so we are a little unsure if a female will be ok without a male :dk:
Will it cause any problems with her when she is mature enough to lay eggs, will she just lay them or will she not produce any at all ?
and in your opinions will it be more beneficial to her health and happiness to put a male in with her ?
she is still quite young at the minute and we are only guessing that she is female but wanted to cover all the bases as early as possible.
Cheers in advance peeps
